Q. Does your Multi-Therapy program work for everyone?
A. No. However clients that qualify for our program achieve a amazing success rate over ninety percent. Our approach offers all clinical proven treatments and takes a inside/out approach to hair loss. This approach offers the best chance for optimizing results. Call today for a hair growth analysis to see if you qualify.
Q. Why should I see you if I have seen a Dermatologist?
A. Trichology is a sub-derivative of Dermatology started in 1902. We specialize in hair loss and scalp disorders. Our approach is a proven naturopath approach that takes more of a “whole” look at the individual. Dermatology is a straight forward conventional western medicine approach that looks to Drugs and Steroids to control the problem. We work with Dermatologist to properly diagnose conditions that cause fibrosing conditions (scaring). A scalp biopsy done by a qualified Dermatologist will determine if the follicles in question are available for growth.

Q. What are the prices?
A. Our plans are personalized based on your needs. After a initial consultation we will recommend the proper direction to optimize results, however the final choice is up to you. Your hair loss condition will factor in to length of time to achieve the proper results.
Q. How to I pay?
A. Because most insurance plans consider scalp conditions and hair loss (cpt code: Alopecia) cosmetic, traditional insurance will generally not cover treatment costs. However, most Flex spending, MSA, HSA and Cafeteria plans will accept. Although we offer substantial discounts for full payments made with cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, we also offer monthly payment options for as little as $80.00 a month. For your convenience, twelve month no interest plans are also available.
Q. What should I expect on my first initial consultation and Hair growth analysis?
A. We understand there are many companies and late night informative trying to “cash in” on people’s fear of hair loss. Our process is much more personal and informative. All of our clients are suffering from hair loss or scalp disorders, period. We have created a friendly clinic where you find all races, gender and ages receiving results. We do not double book our consultations, we do ask for a 48 hour notice to reschedule and ask you to allow up to one hour. We will have you fill out a brief three page review of your history as it relates to hair loss, then you will meet with a caring trichology trained consultant to review your history and look at your hair and scalp under a state of the art capilloscope (hair microscope) that can detect hair and scalp condition. We will then work to answer any questions you may have, and offer free advise you have not rcvd before. If we think you qualify for our treatments we will discuss your options and set proper expectations. Our goal is education (we consult not sell) to help you make a proper decision. Because we do not double book, beginning in 2007 we will request a credit card to hold your time, we ask for a 48 hour notice to reschedule.
Q. Who are your clients?
A. We work with both Men and Women, but because of our referral from Doctors and Salons, seventy percent of our clients are women. Of this base a large percentage is African Women and other minorities. Our clients average age varies from 15-78 years old.

Q. I live too far away or do not have the time to attend your clinic on a regular basis?

A. We ask, for your sake, that you take the time to come in once for a personal consultation and Hair Growth Analysis, if you qualify, and based on your needs we can develop a home maintenance program that uses lasers along with a effective multiple therapy program at home! To see if you qualify call us at (703) 914-4247.

Q. I have thinning hair, can I do your Healthy Hair Extensions and grow my own hair with your program?
A. Yes, in most cases. Our extensions were designed to work with our treatments to strengthen your own hair and not damage the hair you still have, in fact our hair extensions will help your hair grow! To see if you qualify contact us and ask for a consultation with our certified hair extensionist for thinning hair, Charmenia Tiller. Due to demand, space is limited and a credit card is required to hold this free evaluation and pricing.
Q. My research show their is no cure for Genetic Hair Loss? Do you have the cure?
A. No. Much like Diabetes we can manage hair loss but not cure it. No matter if you use us, get a hair transplant or do nothing your hair loss will continue to digress until you find ways to block DHT ( the medical reason for hair loss). Our maintenance programs allow you to maintain your results with much less effort, time or money.
Q. Are your hours and location convenient?
A. We hope so, we are open six days a week with some evening until 8:00pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays. We are conveniently located close to King Street Metro in Alexandria, Virginia and less than a half mile from 495/95 by the 176B Telegraph Road exit.
